LGS appoints new Director to Board

Local Government Super (LGS) has announced the appointment of Gregory (Greg) McLean as a Director on its Board, replacing Jim Montague, effective 6 June 2018.

 

Greg McLean is an experienced Director with expertise in superannuation, financial management, social and competition policy, and industrial relations.
 
Greg is currently a Councillor of the Sutherland Shire Council, and has been a Director of several corporate and not-for-profit organisations throughout his career. In 2011, Greg was awarded the  Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his services to industrial relations. 
 
LGS Chair, Bruce Miller, said: “We are pleased to welcome Greg McLean to the LGS Board. Greg has spent 40 years representing working Australians and we look forward to drawing on his extensive experience so we can continue the strong growth of our super fund and the retirement savings of our members.” 
 
At LGS, Greg sits on the Governance, Remuneration and Nomination Committee, Member Services Committee, and Risk Committee.
