Local Government Super was established in 1997 and has traditionally been the industry super fund for current and former NSW local government employees. We currently manage $12 billion in retirement savings for our members.

Today, we are open to the wider community meaning that anyone can join as long as you reside in Australia. If you’re an overseas resident living in Australia, you can also join if you're employed by an eligible Australian employer. You can enjoy all the benefits of being a member of one of the most sustainable super funds in Australia.


We are committed to responsible and sustainable investment, and we are one of a very small number to be certified as a responsible super fund by the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia.
